Workshops

Sunday Brunch with Auntie Flo (paid)

An immersive experience where tastes become sounds, past becomes present and food becomes stories. Hosted by beloved returning artist Auntie Flo, memories of what he has experienced last year and new flavours of this year will envelop the delicious Goan fusion cuisine by Nikita at the edge of the scenic backwaters. 11-2pm. All food + drinks included - 3k

Biosonification Workshop with Auntie Flo

Plants Can Dance (and Mushrooms Sing) is an event series exploring composing music in collaboration with living organisms from the natural world. Founded by award-winning DJ and sound artist Brian d'Souza (aka Auntie Flo) in 2024, uses a process of 'biosonification' to convert bioelectricity into sounds, allowing us to hear plant data as music. This time it will be food!

Diagnosing and Repairing Your Broken Music Gear - Tarab Instruments

A 2h workshop that will walk you through the process of trying to diagnose what parts are broken in your music making gear and how you can try fixing the most common issues yourself.

Sonic Dissent - Political Sampling and Anarchist Music Production

This workshop explores the historical relationship between sound, protest, and resistance while addressing the ethical and legal considerations of sampling politically sensitive material. Participants learn experimental production techniques in Ableton Live, including transforming speech into ambient textures, generative modulation, and velocity-based sound design, all applied through the collaborative construction of a track. By the end, participants will understand sampling as a tool for cultural expression, develop unconventional production strategies, and critically reflect on their ethical responsibilities when working with documentary audio.

Dream Share participatory artwork by Jussi Brightmore

'Dream Share' is an ongoing multi-disciplinary investigation by Jussi Brightmore exploring the relationship between the IRL experience, our internal subconscious worlds and Jung's theories of collective unconsciousness. This practice centres around experiential events where participants are invited to explore these themes as they move through liminal sleep states in communal events comprising spoken word, music and sound elements, including a continually growing archive of audio recordings of participants' reports of their dream experiences.
